The “1st International conference of Hospital Partnerships” in Germany`s capital Berlin - shortly before the World Health Summit will take place there - offers a unique chance for participants to network on a disciplinary and regional level. The focus lies on the question, how hospital partnerships can maintain resilience and solidarity in times of unprecedented challenges. In professional groups, the participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas on different topics and form new relationships – individually and organizationally.
With a focus on people’s experiences the conference aims to bring together experts from across health, science and civil society to discuss how partnership projects can be strengthened in their response capacity to current crises.
To encourage networking and strengthen Global Health synergies on a larger scale, the conference will run on its 2nd day 15 October in parallel with the “GLOHRA Day”, the annual symposium of the German Alliance for Global Health Research. The “Research meets Implementation” session will be jointly organized by GLOHRA and the Hospital Partnerships program. Lunch and coffee breaks will offer additional networking opportunities for participants of both events.
On 14th October, the Else Kröner Fresenius foundation – co-financer of the GIZ program – invites at 6 pm for its “Else Kröner Fresenius Award for Development Cooperation in Medicine 2022” and its reception in the main hall.
A registration for the award ceremony of the foundation is recommended. Further information you will find here. Please register via E-Mail to: preisverleihung@ekfs.de
