The partnership between the Universitätsklinikum Tübingen in Germany and the Caritas Baby Hosptial in Palestine aim to improve pediatric care for patients with neurological conditions within the partner hospital.

In the Caritas Baby Hospital, the medical personnel do not have access to further trainings specific to neurodiagnostics and neurotherapies.
Main Activities: As part of the partnership project, doctors frequently recieve training specific to epilepsy diagnoses and therapies for children. Medical personnel travel from Bethlehem to Tübingen for further education opportunities. Additionaly, trainings and conferences are held in Bethlehem. Regarding scientific processes, the Universität Tübingen laboratory supports the partnership hosptial with performing diagnostics.
Short-Term Effect: Through the partnership project, the medical care of patients with neurological conditions is improved in the Caritas Baby Hospital.
Long-Term Effect: The Caritas Baby Hospital should act as a long-term neuropediatric center in Palastine, which can also serve low-income populations.
