Even if the cinema doors remain closed in times of pandemic, cinema lovers don't have to do without film festivals. From April 21st to 30th 2021, the Arab Film Festival Berlin (ALFILM) will take place for the 12th time - this year online as "Home Edition". This year's edition will show a selection from Arab cinema and focus on the topic of migration in a variety of ways. According to the organisers, the focus is on expressive protagonists, touching narratives and impressive film art.
